Alan Folts Custom Minimalist Bowie is a small everyday carry fixed blade made to be minimal in size (hence the name) while offering maximum function. The lightweight, well-balanced design doesn’t take up much space making it a perfect choice for discreet every day carry. This version comes with a Black Washed (coated and tumbled), CPM-154 Bowie blade and Black & White layered G10 handles.

Blade: With over two inches of cutting edge, this full tang, hollow ground CPM-154 Bowie blade comes razor sharp with an aggressive clip point for powerful piercing performance. The blade is black coated and then finished with a hard wearing and non-reflective tumbled finish or “Black Washed”. The genius of this design is the blade itself is your guard as it comes down much further than the handle for unparalleled security.

Handle: Three deep finger grooves and attached lanyard create a secure and ergonomic grip. The addition of the lanyard extends the 3-finger grip to fill most hands. Blasted and contoured Black & White Layered G10 handle scales are attached via Torx screw hardware over black liners and provide a secure, high traction grip with striking visual appeal.

Sheath: Includes a custom molded Kydex sheath with paracord neck lanyard, cord lock, bolt-on belt hook and leather belt loop for multiple carry options.

CPM-154: CPM-154 is a particle metallurgy version of 154CM that benefits from the refinement in the PM process providing it with an increase in toughness and easy of finishing. CPM-154 takes a very fine edge and is highly corrosion resistant. Edge retention is going to be on-par with CPM S30V while being easier to resharpen. A great all-around blade steel.
